I don't know if it still bothers you or not, but the stadiums still bother me. How our state government could ram a stadium down our throats, after voting it down, is beyond comprehension. I have always heard that NO means NO. To make matters worse, The promise by a certain owner to pay his fair share, was answered with; "I don't have the money to pay you back." Now let me get this straight, a multi-billionaire got the naming rights on a brand new stadium and he paid nothing? We got the shaft again. This is how our state government has been doing business for years. It is time for a change. It is time for our state government to be responsive to the people of this great state.
How about the fact that the gas tax continues to go up, tolls have been introduced on 167 HOV lanes and tolls are being discussed for both 520 and I-90. All of these taxes and tolls in effect or going into effect, and the Seattle viaduct and 520 bridge replacements are just a dream. Are you tired of being taxed to death with no results to show for your blood, sweat, and tears? I believe it is time to get the projects done and tax or toll after they are completed. Only come to the people for money, after the project is completed so we can see the improvement before we pay for it. By taxing and tolling before a project is complete, it allows our government to drag their feet and study a project to death. Years later, nothing has been decided or accomplished and the money is no where to be found. Sounds like a colossal waste of time and money to me. It is time all of that changes, and it is the job I will take on when elected.
It's time for YOUR voice to be heard.
